Student Success

Students in the program have identified these factors that have helped them be successful in completing high school.

Consider the following questions as they apply to you:

  • Are you ready to make a commitment to education?

  • Have you accumulated enough credits so that you could graduate in one, two or three semesters?

  • Are you in a situation in which you lack credit but want to complete high school?

  • If you have not felt connected to day school, are you ready to develop a sense of community with Evening School students and staff?

  • Do you have a support system of family and/or friends for completing your education?

  • Do you have reliable transportation to ensure that you will meet the mandatory attendance requirements of the evening school?

  • Are you able to maintain full or part-time employment?

  • Do you have a career goal in mind following graduation?

  • Will you feel more motivated to learn in a smaller, more personalized classroom?

  • Are you ready to comply with the Winnacunnet Evening School’s expectations and responsibilities?

Giving yourself honest answers to these questions can help make your evening learning experience more meaningful and successful.  If interested, please contact your guidance counselor and schedule an appointment with the Winnacunnet Evening School office at 758-9231. Evening classes are held Monday through Thursdays 5:20 pm to 8:50 pm.
